On November 22nd, Professor Wu Chengxu from Wonkwang University of South Korea visited our school and the two sides held a discussion in the conference room on the second floor. Tang Xin, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation College, and Zhou Anzhong, deputy director oftheOrganization and Personnel Division attended themeeting.
At themeeting, the two sides affirmed the long-term friendly cooperation between the two universities in student exchanges and further studies, and made in-depth communication on optimizing cooperation methods and contents. The two sides also conducted a detailed discussion on the exchanges between theteachers from both sides, hoping to optimize the cooperation model and expand the cooperation field on the basis of the friendly cooperation of students exchange programs.
In the afternoon, in the academic lecture hall of ourNorth Campus, we held a lecture on the study abroad program of theoverseasfriendly andcooperative universities, which is thestudyabroad explanation session ofWonkwang University. Nearly 600 undergraduate students from 7 colleges in theNorth Campus attended the conference. First of all, theresponsible teacher of theInternational Exchange and Cooperation College made the outline explanation on the international exchange and cooperation projects of our school, hoped that more students can understand the projects and channels for further study and exchange through the school. Next, Professor Wu introduced the Wonkwang University andthe cooperation ofboth sides, and explained the admission conditions, tuition fees and preferential policies for the exchangestudents of our school. The students listened carefully and actively asked questions. They had an updated understanding of our school’s international exchange programs andstudy program in South Korea. Thethoroughexplanationswon unprecedented results and excellent response.
Our school and Wonkwang UniversityofSouth Korea have carried out many years of friendly cooperation in student exchanges, Associate To Bachelor Degree and Bachelor to Master Degree programs. Both parties hope to continue to optimize cooperationprograms, broaden cooperation areas and deepen friendly and cooperative relations.
