Our science research work aims to building application-oriented undergraduate university, focuses on setting up an academic group, takes high-end research platform as priority, and sticks to the scientific and technological policy of “Independent Innovation, Key point Breakthrough, Supporting Development and Leading Future”. We implement youngers training plan and achievements transformation plan while deepening science and research management system reform with increasing research investment, optimizing research environment and reinforcing research motivation. We will vigorously cultivate academic leaders, build science and research team, establish science platform, strengthen research capabilities, expand research channels to promote transformation and utilization of scientific research results for the science support and support of our provincial economic and social development.

In recent years, the scientific research work of SDAEU has developed rapidly. The school has presided over major scientific research projects such as major national science and technology projects and major scientific and technological innovation projects in Shandong. In the past five years, the school has undertaken 16 national-level projects, 118 provincial and ministerial-level projects, formulated 21 national or local standards, and won one second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and one first prize of the National Commercial Science and Technology Progress Award, obtained eight science and technology awards at or above the provincial and ministerial level.
