In 2017, our school has comprehensively implemented the talents policy, adhered to the principle of the Party's management of talents, paid great attention to the construction of talented people and faculty, and achieved remarkable results. For the first time, we have conducted the competition for independent professional and technical positions. It is recommended to select 8 professors, 31 associate professors, 57 lecturers, 4 senior assistants positions, 26 junior and mid-level assistants positions. We have strengthened the construction of teachers' ethics, carried out the activities of "building the Teachers Morals", induction training for newly recruited teachers, and the swearing-in activities of teacher representatives to further strengthen the construction of teachers' morality and created a good environment for educating people. 46 teachers were selected as 2016-2017 Outstanding Teachers of ShanDong Agricultural and Engineering University, 3 teachers as Huang Danian Teachers' Team of ShanDong Agricultural and Engineering University, and 54 teachers of Outstanding Teacher Ethics. Wen Shaomei, from the School of Humanities, won the title of the 2017 Shandong University Ten Morality Model; Professor Yang Xiangli, from the Garden Science and Engineering School, won the title of Outstanding Scientists in ShanDong, and was honored the Merit Citation Class II.
