On June 26th, the graduation ceremony of 2021 graduates and degree awarding ceremony of our university were held in Jinan, Qihe and Zibo campuses respectively. School leaders Ding Xibin, Wang Xikui, Zhang Yeshang, Zhang Zhaoming, Yang Zhenning, Zhang Wei, Mu Ruoying, Sun Huihai and Zheng Huamei attended the ceremony. Heads of all colleges and relevant departments, representatives of teachers and graduates attended the ceremony.The graduation ceremony was presided over by Zhang Yeshang, deputy secretary of the Party committee, Zhang Zhaoming, vice president, and Yang Zhenning, member of the Party committee and vice president.
The ceremony began with the singing of the National Anthem. Party Secretary Ding Xibin, Party Committee Deputy Secretary and President Wang Xikui, Party Committee member and Vice President Zhang Wei, on behalf of the Party Committee and Administration of the university, extended warm congratulations to the 3,408 graduates of the 2021 class who have successfully completed their studies, and paid highest respect to the parents and teachers who have worked hard to cultivate the students to grow up!
In their speech, the school leaders thanked the students for leaving a section of the best youth in their life to Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University, put forward three hopes to the graduates: first, the students should remember a hundred years of history andbuild a strong sense of family and country. When youth have dreams, the country has hope. As the "powerful generation" with the important task of national rejuvenation, they hope the students will take the heroes and excellent alumni as the example, cultivate the feelings of home and country, and go where the motherland and the people need it most. Second, they hope that the students can pursue a century-year journey and carry forward the spirit of struggle.On the journey of realizing our ideals, setbacks and obstacles are still inevitable. We should always maintain an optimistic attitude, constantly explore and innovate, forge ahead bravely, and develop our super ability and skills. Perseverance can usher in the light of life, the wings of youth will be stronger. Third, they hope that students will always stay true the original self, being a good person in life. In the face of unprecedented opportunities and challenges, we must keep a clear head, correct understanding, positive embrace, calm response, stick to the truth.
