On the morning of April 20th, Yang Zhenning, a member of the school's Party Committee and vice president, and a group of 4 went to the Liaocheng North-River Water-City Tourist Resort to investigate and discuss cooperation between the school and the local. Luan Zhenbo, member of the District Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee, presided over the meeting. Zhang Yongfeng, Consultant to the Liaocheng People’s Government, Dean of the Liaocheng Green Development Research Institute, Deputy Director of the District Political and Industrial Department, Jiang Zhentao, Director of the District Economic Development Bureau, Xu Zelei, Director of the District Agricultural and Industrial Office, Dong Chuanhe, Director of the Office of Academic Affairs of SDAEU, Xu Jinqiang, Secretary of General Party Branch of the Forestry Engineering School, and Zhang Zhongfeng, Deputy Dean attended the forum.

At the symposium, Yang Zhenning introduced the reform and development of the school and put forward specific requirements on the cooperation of product, university and research. Luan Zhenbo gave a brief introduction on regional construction and advantages and characteristics, rural revitalization working mechanism and development positioning. Yu Gang introduced the academy's industry-university-research cooperation and the work of serving rural revitalization, and put forward the cooperation direction and requirements. The three parties of the school, government and academy negotiated on accelerating the construction of the innovation platform and the gathering of innovative elements, focusing on the development of technological innovation and the need for "double recruitment and double introduction", and actively co-constructing school-local school-institute cooperation and other matters. Through this meeting, the two parties have strengthened their understanding and reached a consensus, laying the foundation for the in-depth cooperation among SDAEU, research institutes and resorts.

After the meeting, SDAEU and Liaocheng Green Development Research Institute jointly signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement."

Before the meeting, accompanied by leaders of the district and institute, Yang Zhenning and his team visited Liaocheng East China Forestry and Fruit Research Institute Modern Agricultural Research Demonstration Base, Wangyue Lake and other places.
