On March 27, Wang Yong, Deputy Party Secretaryofthe University Party Committee and President of theUniversity,visitedtheZibo Campus to conduct an inspection and provide guidance. Niu Huazhen, Member of theUniversityParty Committee and Director of the Publicity Department, along with heads of relevant functional departments, accompanied the visit.

Wang Yong conducted on-site inspections of the Green Agricultural Engineering Innovation Research Institute, the University History Museum, the library, laboratories, teaching buildings, dining facilities, student dormitories, and the gymnasium.He also visited key units designated for master’s degree program development, including the School of Food Science and Engineering, the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, and the School of Agricultural Science and Technology. Through field observations and briefings, he gained a comprehensive understanding of the campus’s teaching and research operations, infrastructure development, and logistical support services. He engaged in in-depth discussions with responsible personnel, inquiring in detail about challenges and bottlenecks in ongoing work, and made clear that the university would coordinate resources to address practical difficulties.

Wang Yong affirmed the achievements in teaching, research, and logistical support. He emphasized the importance of upholding the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, improving the teaching quality evaluation system, strengthening the development of the faculty, deepening educational and teaching reforms, and enhancing the quality of classroom instruction. He also stressed the need to attach great importance to scientific research by focusing on disciplinary strengths, promoting collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research institutions, strengthening research teams and project development, and improving the utilization efficiency of teaching and research equipment. In addition, he called for meticulous efforts to ensure campus safety and stability and to enhance the quality of logistical services with dedication and care.He further required all departments to strengthen coordination, demonstrate responsibility and diligence, make every effort to achieve new breakthroughs in the development of master’s degree programs, and strive to open a new chapter in the university’s high-quality development.
