On the afternoon of July 8, the 2026 Graduation Ceremony and Outstanding Student Awards Ceremony for international students of Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University was held in Room A116 of the Administration Building, Zibo Campus. International students from nearly 30 countries, including Russia, Mongolia, Yemen, and Afghanistan, together with faculty representatives and students' family and friends, gathered to witness this significant moment. The ceremony was presided over by Men Huihua, Director of the International Affairs Office and Dean of the School of International Education.

In his address, Sun Chengyun, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of International Education, extended warm congratulations to all graduates. He briefly reviewed the students' growth and progress over the past year and encouraged them to pursue light and grow toward the sun wherever they go.

In their messages, faculty representatives Qiao Youzi and Han Chenxu recalled the classroom moments spent with the students and encouraged them to take graduation as a new starting point, uphold the university motto of "Houde, Ziqiang, Qiushi, Duxing" (Virtue, Self-Improvement, Truth-Seeking, and Earnest Practice), and move forward courageously in broader horizons.

Student representatives AL-AWAMI MOHAMMED YAHYA MOHAMMED from Yemen, KASHKAROVA KARINA from Russia, and MOHSINI MAHDI from Afghanistan delivered speeches in turn. In fluent Chinese, they shared their growth stories—from the initial unfamiliarity and anxiety upon first arriving in China to their present confidence in self-expression and the friendships they had gained—and expressed their sincere gratitude to the university and their teachers.

During the ceremony, an awards presentation was held to honor outstanding international students who had excelled in academic performance, classroom participation, and cultural exchange. At the certificate presentation session, graduates took the stage one by one to receive certificates that bore witness to a year of hard work and growth.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo of all faculty and students. The graduates will carry the expectations and blessings of their alma mater as they depart from Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University and embark on their own new journeys.
