To further advance industry–education integration and enhance international students’ professional understanding, more than 40 faculty members and students from the School of International Education of Shandong Agriculture and Engineering University (SDAEU) visited Inspur Group in Jinan on June 5 for an educational field trip themed “Perceiving China’s Intelligent Manufacturing.” The participating students were primarily majoring in Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical and Electronic Engineering.

Fu Lei, Deputy General Manager of the Overseas Marketing Departmentat Inspur Digital Enterprise, warmly welcomed the delegation from SDAEU. Guided by the company’s staff, the faculty members and students first toured the Inspur exhibition hall, where they learned about the company’s development history, core businesses, and latest achievements in areas such as the industrial Internet and artificial intelligence.The international students showed great interest in the cutting-edge technologies on display and actively raised questions about topics including AI application scenarios and intelligent manufacturing processes. Inspur’s technical experts provided detailed answers to their questions.

Following the tour, the two sides held a discussion and exchange session. Representatives from Inspur Digital Enterprise introduced the company’s industrial intelligence solutions and shared the latest technologies and application cases in the field of Microsoft Industrial AI. They also engaged in in-depth exchanges with the university delegation on topics including industry–academia–research collaboration and the joint development of international talent.

The international students remarked that the visit enabled them not only to experience firsthand the innovation and technological strength of a leading Chinese high-tech enterprise, but also to gain a deeper understanding of how academic knowledge can be effectively integrated with real-world industrial applications.

Moving forward, the School of International Education will continue to strengthen cooperation with outstanding enterprises such as Inspur Group, further expanding the scope and depth of industry–education integration. By providing more high-quality practical learning opportunities, the School aims to cultivate application-oriented graduates with global perspectives and strong comprehensive competencies.
